Big Hit Entertainment posted an announcement on the community platform Weverse on Friday afternoon regarding BTS' "MAP OF THE SOUL TOUR."
Big Hit said it has decided to reschedule BTS' world tour concert "MAP OF THE SOUL TOUR." He added, "The main tour is made up of the participation of staff from all over the world, and the operation of the global logistics system should be supported. There are some countries, regions and cities where things have improved somewhat, including South Korea, but it is not easy to start the tour right away based on this," he explained the reason for the suspension of the schedule.
He added, "We have made a heavy decision to temporarily suspend the entire tour schedule that we have guided you on and set up a new one in the future. As soon as we confirm when we can start the tour, we will reschedule the entire tour and let you know," he added.
Big Hit said, "The decision to reschedule this tour is a top priority for the health and safety of our safety. We will do our best to repay the wait as we have been preparing for the best performance for a long time," he said. "It may take a long time depending on the Corona 19 situation, but we will try to make BTS and fans meet as soon as possible." Also, the gap in artist activities due to Corona 19 will be filled in a new way in line with the New Normal era," it said.
BTS originally planned to hold a world tour of "MAP OF THE SOUL" in the U.S., Canada, Japan, Britain, Germany and Spain, starting with performances in Seoul on April 11 and 12.
